Skin Boosters can be a difficult field to navigate so, at Teleta we have decided to break down our two most popular skin boosters Profhilo and Neofound to help you decide what works best for your patients.
Neofound and Profhilo
Neofound and Profhilo are the two most popular skin boosters that we sell here at Teleta. So, how do these amazing injectable treatments differ from one another?
Both Neofound and Profhilo’s main active ingredient is Hyaluronic acid, a potent moisturising factor naturally found in the skin and joints. Hyaluronic acid’s ability to draw 1000 times its own weight in water into the skin makes it ideal for binding and retaining water molecules, hydrating the skin to leave it fresh and radiant.
However, there are clear differences between the two treatments which may sway you towards one as the more beneficial choice for your patients.
Ingredients
One key difference between the two treatments are the ingredients.
Profhilo is made of pure high-grade Hyaluronic acid that not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also plumps and remodels sagging tissue helping to rejuvenate the overall appearance.
Profhilo is perfect for plumping the skin, diminishing fine lines and wrinkles, boosting the skin’s radiance all while lifting sagging tissue.
Neofound’s main active ingredient is also high grade Hyaluronic acid providing the skin with deep hydration. However, Neofound also contains several other ingredients that work in harmony making Neofound a Bio-remodelling treatment that provides a global effect.
These tested ingredients reduce hyperpigmentation, skin yellowing, wrinkles, and water loss all while promoting collagen production, nourishment and deep hydration. Also, the addition of Acetyl Hexapeptide provides activity similar to botulinum toxin; softly reducing facial muscles contractions.
Profhilo relies on the BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) technique which is spread across the malar and submalar areas of the face, with five specific points on each side of the face.
Neofound application involves a series of injections in minute doses all over the face. This application allows you a little more customization based on the unique needs of your client. It allows you to directly target/tweak affected sites that may require more, or less, attention.
Both Neofound and Profhilo have particular treatment schedules.
Neofound recommends two – three sessions, two weeks apart. This cycle should then repeat every 6-9 months depending on the client.
Profhilo on the other hand recommends two treatments, four weeks apart. This treatment plan should repeat every 9 months or when required.
Profhilo and Neofound are both products that offer both you and your clients fantastic results. Each has their unique qualities and use cases that you can pick and choose to create that ‘perfect treatment plan!’
