As the summer months approach, it’s time to get your patients’ skin and body ready for the change in weather.
Wearing less makeup and clothes means people generally want flawless skin and to be in the best shape possible!
As aesthetic practitioners, you are of course in a prime position to help them. As the season changes, now is a perfect time to start shouting about what you offer to benefit existing patients and entice new ones!
Consider breaking down your promotions into three stages:
· Summer prep: anything that requires a course of procedures over a few months should be included here. Think laser hair removal, body contouring, chemical peels. Messaging should focus around ‘getting ready’ and ‘being prepared’.
· Quick wins: facials and injectable procedures where results are immediate or only take a couple of weeks to show are key. Appeal to those wanting to refresh skin, smooth wrinkles and lift sagging for an upcoming wedding or holiday. Be mindful not to pressure people to book for these more serious treatments, though.
· Post-sun care: as summer comes to an end, people will be looking for solutions for dry skin and hyperpigmentation. Now is a great time to share your knowledge on how the sun affects skin and the fact that you have treatments that can help.
Promoting use of SPF is absolutely key at this time of year. Introduce a marketing campaign that educates your audience on the difference between chemical and physical sunscreen, how often you should apply and what products you recommend. This can be broken down into separate posts to maximise your reach.
