Tell us about you and your clinic…
I’m a GP and senior doctor, working in one of the busiest A&E departments in the country. This experience has brought many transferable skills to my aesthetics career – which began in 2018 after training with Harley Medical – such as managing emergencies, providing detailed consultations and making patients feel safe and relaxed in my clinic.
Most of my patients are women who I support with beautification treatments to make them look and feel better.
Can you describe your favourite treatment/product that you offer patients and why?
I love Neofound for skin boosting. I started using it just after lockdown – trialling it on friends, and friends of friends to see what it could do. One lady had really significant post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, which disappeared before my eyes with Neofound treatment! Of course, it’s only temporary but it has amazing results for all sorts of concerns in patients of all different ages.
Now, nearly all my Botox patients also have Neofound at their three-month appointments – benefitting not only from the anti-wrinkle injections but skin quality improvement too.
What do you hope to learn and achieve in the next six months?
I’ve just introduced the Emsella chair and the UltraFemme 360 treatments from BTL. They are clinically-proven to rejuvenate pelvic floor health, mainly in post-menopausal women and those who’ve recently had babies.
I’m really excited to be able to offer solutions for these women and am looking forward to increasing patient reach over the next few months.
If you weren’t an aesthetic practitioner, what would you be and why?
I’d love to plan a huge robbery – steal a painting from the Louvre! I’d probably give the painting back afterwards, but using that level of analytical thinking to either carry out the crime or solve it would be so cool.
It would take years to plan and I’d work with a very carefully selected team, going over every intricate detail beforehand so it all went perfectly.
The story could definitely be turned into a film afterwards. I’m not sure who I’d have play me, but they’d need a bit of sass and no Scottish accent!
Why do you love working with Teleta?
Definitely the craic – everyone feels like family! I’d spoken to the team for a year before meeting in real life, but when we did meet it felt like I’d known them forever. Teleta is a great company to work with!
OK, sometimes we don’t want to type in the website address… EVERY TIME… we want to visit that site. Sometimes we would just like to click a button! So, add Teleta to your mobile phones home screen! It’s pretty straight forward: iPad or iPhone Launch “Safari” app. This does not work from the “Chrome” app …
Last week was ‘eventful’ to say the least! Clear government guidance, although trying to keep us all safe, has been pretty irregular and susceptible to interpretation or quick changes of direction. That said, it is much clearer now and we can’t wait to see your social media light up again with all the treatments and …
